Silver Bullet Productions is a Santa Fe-based nonprofit that uses film to support cultural preservation in Native American communities. I designed their WordPress website using the flexible Divi theme and continue to update it.
Silver Bullet has two distinct sides to its work, each with different audiences and goals. Educators and community partners may visit the site for information about student workshops, while journalists, funders, and film audiences may come to learn about its documentaries. The challenge was making both easy to find and understand while still presenting Silver Bullet as one organization.
Homepage
The homepage introduces Silver Bullet’s mission, then gives equal attention to its student workshops and documentary films. From there, it highlights the organization’s work, current film release and press, ways to support the organization, and testimonials.
Documentary Films
The Documentary Films section is designed more like a film catalog. Each film has its own visual identity and description, making it easy to browse Silver Bullet’s body of work.
Student Workshops
The Student Workshops section is more photo- and community-focused. Rather than using the same layout as the documentary section, I designed this page around what educators and community partners are most likely to look for.
